Some 84 exhibitors from this year’s World ATM Congress in Madrid have already signalled their intent to be a part of Airspace World, CANSO’s new global Air Traffic Management event, taking place in Geneva, Switzerland, on 8 to 10 March 2023.

Around 10 more are expected to send in their letters of intent imminently too, bringing the bringing the total of exhibitors planning to come to Geneva to around 50 per cent of those who exhibited in Madrid, within just a week of registration being open.

“The numbers of exhibitors demonstrating their interest in Airspace World in the first week they could register has massively exceeded the ambitious target we set ourselves,” said Simon Hocquard, Director General, CANSO. “I think this demonstrates the enthusiasm of those exhibitors to be part of our new event, and I look forward to working with them to make sure they have the best exhibition yet. I am especially grateful to those CANSO Members who were so quick to support our decision and want to be with us in Geneva.

“Airspace World marks a new era for CANSO and will bring together the worlds of manned and unmanned aviation to collectively work on our blueprint for future skies and to showcase the technology and services required to get there. Airspace World will see organisations from across the ATM, space and UTM industries come together to Shape our Future Skies.”

CANSO’s sales team is now liaising with other World ATM Exhibitors and others from the industry to ensure their needs are met in Geneva. Potential exhibitors can register their interest or start their conversation with CANSO by contacting Sales@Airspaceworld.com, or by completing the expression of interest for at AirspaceWorld.com.

“We’re off to a great start,” Simon added, “And I look forward to seeing everyone in Geneva in 2023.”
