Iberia and Vueling, companies belonging to IAG, have reached an agreement with the GSMA, the organizing company of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, to be airlines associated with the congress, which this year will be held from June 28 to July 1.

For this reason, the airlines will offer discounts to attendees on their trips until July 8, 10 percent for attendees traveling in Economy class on Iberia and Vueling planes *, and 15 percent for those traveling in Iberia Premium or Business Tourist.

For Vueling’s Director of Communication and Institutional Relations, Ana Fernández, “it is a pride to collaborate with the organization of one of the most important technological events in the world. We are a native digital company and with this agreement we want to show our support to the technology sector and, of course, to Barcelona, for the great impact that this congress has on the city and for continuing to be an ally in the recovery of tourism and the economy ” .

Iberia offers an average of seven daily flights in each direction between Madrid and Barcelona, which will facilitate attendance at the fair. “We have been participating in this great technological event for many years, which this year becomes even more important because, on the one hand, it will contribute to the reactivation of the fair and congress sector, and on the other, because the past year has proven in new ways, the power of connectivity.”, adds Guillermo González Vallina, Sales Director for Spain, Portugal and North Africa.
