For the third consecutive year, Aeromexico was included in the Global Airline category of the APEX Official Airline Ratings, receiving the highest award of five stars. Only 22 out of more than 600 airlines are in this category and level. This award is based on travelers’ comments and ratings and is presented annually by the Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX).

Andres Castañeda, Aeromexico’s Digital and Customer Experience Executive Vice President, said: ” At Aeromexico, our customers are the number one priority, so standing out among more than 600 airlines worldwide for the quality of our service is something that fills us with pride, and at the same time commits us to continue innovating, as we have done so far, to offer travelers an enhanced and customized service according to their needs”.

At the event, held on December 1 during the 2021 APEX Expo in Long Beach, California, Joe Leader, CEO of APEX/IFSA commented: “APEX is proud to have originated the Official Airline Ratings awards based entirely on verified passenger feedback. The airlines honored this year did not just take passengers from one destination to another, they provided experiences that made them feel safe to take to the skies again, and APEX could not be prouder to honor these airlines for their dedication”.

Aeromexico has focused significant efforts on improving its customers’ experience, highlighting:

Aeromexico, which created its own Health and Sanitization Management System (HSMH), was also recognized by APEX at the beginning of the year with a “Platinum” rating in the APEX Health Safety standard.

For the five-star distinction, APEX assessed over one million flights from more than 600 airlines around the world, and the information was validated, verified, and certified.
