Emirates becomes first airline to implement IATA Travel Pass across six continents

Source: Emirates Emirates is the first airline to implement the International Air Transport Association's IATA Travel Pass solution on six continents as it rolls out this digital health pass to customers at all its destinations. Following successful trials in April on select routes from its Dubai hub, Emirates gradually expanded the IATA Travel Pass pilot to customers on 12 routes in June and the airline has now signed a contract with IATA to implement the solution across its global network. FAA: Unruly Passenger Rate Drops, But Remains Too High

Embraer extends and grows Pool Program with Cobham in Australia

The agreement extension now covers a greater scope in this program. Embraer’s Pool Program offers full repair coverage for components and parts, airframe maintenance, and unlimited access to a large stock of components at the company’s distribution centers. Airbus to deliver U.S.-completed commercial aircraft with Sustainable Aviation Fuel

Source: Airbus Airbus will start delivering all aircraft from its U.S. Manufacturing Facility in Mobile, Alabama with Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) on board later this year. The initiative is a further step toward fulfilling Airbus’ commitment to carbon-neutral growth in the aviation sector. Airbus has reached an agreement with Signature Flight Support to supply SAF to its Mobile facility. No later than November 2021, all aircraft delivered to customers will be powered by a blend of SAF and conventional jet fuel.
