Source: LATAM LATAM Airlines Group reports its operational estimate for February, which could reach 35% (measured in available seat kilometers - ASK) compared to the same period of the previous year. The figure is lower than that announced for January, in which the operation reached 39.8% of previous year’s capacity, in a scenario dominated by increased government restrictions on air transport worldwide. For this month, there are 680 daily domestic and international flights estimated, connecting 115 destinations in 16 countries. Air Canada to Suspend Flights to the Caribbean and Mexico at the request of, and to Support Government of Canada COVID-19 Mitigation Efforts

WestJet cuts flying to Mexico and Caribbean at request of Canadian government

Aeromexico launches new service to Puerto Escondido

The borders for the Dutch Caribbean were reopened for commercial passenger traffic and a pilot program for air service from the USA was launched, reopening the borders to four specific states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Florida.  The borders remained closed for the remaining states, Colombia, and Panama. Aeromexico implements measures issued by the United States Government

Source: Aeromexico As of January 26, the United States government will require all passengers two years and older to present a negative COVID-19 test under the following conditions: The tests that will be accepted are: Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test or Antigen test issued by a laboratory. Date of completion of the test: Maximum 3 days before the flight departs (with or without stopovers). In addition to these requirements, the United States government has requested that passengers must fill a form to confirm the authenticity of the test result.
