  • As demand for premium travel experiences continues to grow, Delta will offer Delta Premium Select on select JFK-LAX flights beginning in September. Fast, free Wi-Fi presented by T-Mobile will be available on all flights between JFK and LAX by the end of September.

Beginning this fall, Delta customers traveling between New York (JFK) and Los Angeles (LAX) can look forward to elevated dining and additional room to stretch out in Delta Premium Select as the airline delivers this popular product on domestic U.S. transcontinental flights for the first time.

Delta Premium Select will launch on September 10 on four of Delta’s 11 peak-day flights between LAX and JFK on a Boeing 767 widebody aircraft newly equipped with four product experiences: Delta One, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+ and Main Cabin. Delta expects to expand to additional daily JFK-LAX frequencies later this year.

“Delta Premium Select will bring a new level of comfort, luxury and practicality to one of Delta’s most important routes in the domestic U.S. as we continue to work to deliver more premium experiences to our customers,” said Maurico Parise, Vice President – Brand Experience Design. “This product has been a success internationally, especially following the recent investments we’ve made onboard, and we know that customers flying between New York and Los Angeles will enjoy the opportunity to treat themselves to a more spacious seat and premium experience.”

Customers flying in Delta Premium Select, available on all trans-Pacific and most trans-Atlantic flights, will soon be treated to a refreshed and improved cabin experience, complementing a spacious seat design for which DPS is already known.

Delta Premium Select debuted in 2017 and now operates on a majority of Delta’s trans-Pacific and trans-Atlantic flights, as well as on select routes to Latin America. The product was recently refreshed to feature more locally inspired dining, premium hand-crafted amenities, more dedicated service, and the option to pre-select onboard meals.

The expansion of DPS to U.S. transcontinental flights is the latest in more than a decade’s worth of investments by Delta in New York and Los Angeles – both in the air and on the ground. And as Delta continues to carry out its commitment to bringing fast, free Wi-Fi presented by T-Mobile to its entire global fleet, customers traveling between these two hubs will enjoy reliable, streaming-quality connectivity on all flights by the end of September.
