After announcing the launch and resumption of 12 additional routes to provide more connectivity options in the upcoming high season, Avianca confirmed the sale of the new Bogotá-Toronto route starting today, which will begin operating in December 2021.
“With the launch of this new route, we want to connect our travelers in Colombia with Canada directly and nonstop, recognizing the great growth that this country has had as a tourist, academic and business destination. Thus, we continue to add more routes, more destinations and more options to our network with our promise of competitive prices and tailored products. We are sure that this will also be good news for the reactivation of tourism and the economy”, said Ana Maria Copete, Director of Sales for Avianca.
From Bogotá: direct to one of the 20 most diverse countries in the world
Avianca will operate 6 flights a week between Bogotá and Toronto on its Airbus A320 family aircraft, which have a capacity for 150 passengers. This will represent an offer of about 1,000 chairs per week for customers. The frequencies in both directions will be on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, departing from Bogotá at 3:20 pm and arriving in Toronto at 9:30 pm. The return is at 10:50 p.m. those same days from Toronto, arriving in Bogotá at 05:00 a.m. on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
