We would like to invite you to the first ACI-LAC & InteVISTAS Consulting Inc. webinar on “Legal, Regulatory and Aeropolitical Aspects of Air Service Development“.
This webinar will provide an introduction to the key aeropolitical aspects that affect air service development and airport-airline relations. In particular, we will review some of the most relevant provisions in bilateral air service agreements that airports should consider when targeting airlines in foreign markets. For example, the nature and scope of traffic rights (based on so-called freedoms of the air), the meaning of route schedule flexibility and the value of co-terminalization, scheduled v. charter operations (passenger and cargo), key doing business provisions for airlines, and designations. You will also learn what are the non-commercial elements that matter the most to airlines and how you can work with local authorities to improve your ASD campaigns. We will also review some of the new factors to consider in a COVID-19 environment.
