Airports Council International – Latin America and the Caribbean (ACI-LAC) warmly welcome Leadin Aviation Consulting, a consulting firm specializing in airport planning, as a new World Business Partner – WBP.

Leadin Aviation Consulting has been developing its services in airports in five continents since 2018, consolidating its reputation in the Aviation and Airport planning sector. With headquarters in Madrid, Spain.

“ACI-LAC continues to work to attract new business partners that add value to the growth of the airport industry. We are confident that Leadin Aviation Consulting, with its vast experience in airport planning, will be a key member for the continued development of the sector in Latin America & the Caribbean,” commented Dr. Rafael Echevarne, General Director of ACI-LAC.

Eduardo Coll Hernandez, CEO Leadin Aviation Consulting, stated, “We are very grateful for the ACI-LAC team’s welcome to Leadin Aviation as World Business Partners. At WAGA 2021 in Cancun, we witnessed the enthusiasm, the very high level of participants, and the leading spirit of its members to develop sustainable and resilient aviation, positioning the sector as a catalyst for change in society. We are delighted to be able to join this initiative with our team.”

In Latin America and the Caribbean region, Leadin Aviation is currently advising different airport operators and investors. Its extensive knowledge of the market and commitment to the Latin American and the Caribbean marks its clear objective of supporting its leaders to develop the aviation business in a sustainable, innovative, efficient, and prepared way for the challenges faced by the sector.

It is worth highlighting its projects in the region, its support in the Lima Airport expansion project as advisors and a key player in driving the project forward, following the impact of COVID-19. Leadin assessed the magnitude of the air traffic crisis and its projections and developed a renewed concept of a terminal area adaptable to the changing market dynamics that have been key to maintaining the feasibility of the project.

“In these critical times for the sector, more than ever, solutions are needed that can flexibly adapt to potential traffic demand. In this uncertain scenario, new infrastructures must provide operating alternatives that make the business models of airport operators and their concessionaires viable. At the same time, these infrastructures must be able to capture the return of higher and more stable growth rates in a desirably near future”, adds Eduardo Coll.
