Tropic Air announced that it will be commencing non-stop service between the Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City and Ramón Villeda Morales International Airport (SAP) in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. Service will begin on November 15th, 2022 and will initially operate twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

This new flight is a direct response to requests from its valued customers, and delivers on the airline’s commitment to the people of Belize.

“When we inaugurated our San Salvador service, we promised to continue to evaluate important regional destinations with an eye to growing our international network. We feel the time is right to add San Pedro Sula,” said John Greif III, President of Tropic Air.

“We are continuously seeking new and innovative routes that promote tourism, business, travel and cargo within our region. This flight also improves Belize’s connectivity to Latin markets and gives those visitors yet another convenient way to get to Belize,” added Steve Schulte, the company’s CEO.

In celebration of this new service, a special introductory fare of US$99 each way plus taxes is now available for travel through December 15th, 2022. The flight schedule is as follows:

Service to San Pedro Sula will be on one of Tropic’s 14 state of the art, glass cockpit (G1000) Cessna Caravan aircraft. These air-conditioned aircraft are also equipped with radar, GPS navigation, and terrain mapping.
