Dreaming, designing and building without limits are part of the premises of Collins Aerospace, a US technology corporation with more than 73,000 employees, including a workforce of more than 16,000 engineers, which today joins the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) as an affiliate member.

The company, which has around 300 operations centers around the world, faces the new challenges of the aviation industry with innovative solutions. An example of this is the recently launched of OpsCore Flight Tracking, a cloud-based solution that increases airlines’ efficiency and sustainability.

“Collins Aerospace’s experience and cutting-edge technology plays an important role in the joint effort to develop the industry in Latin America and the Caribbean. We are very pleased to welcome its team into the ALTA family,” said José Ricardo Botelho, ALTA Executive Director and CEO. “Collins Aerospace is a long-standing partner in our conferences, especially the ALTA CCMA & MRO Conference and the ALTA Pan American Aviation Safety & Ops Summit. With its arrival to the association as an affiliate member, we will expand the joint work through our working groups and committees”.

Currently, Collins Aerospace is one of the world’s largest providers of aerospace systems, avionics, interior systems and information management services for commercial aircraft, also has a division for airports and is venturing into possibilities to explore space.
