The concession Aeropuertos de Oriente S.A.S., responsible for the airport management of six Colombian airports (three international and three domestic) located in the north and east of the country, becomes a member of ACI-LAC, strengthening its commitment to the progress of the airport sector and as a managing operator in Colombia.

On the other hand, Nelson Rodriguez Cruz, Manager of Aeropuertos de Oriente S.A.S. expressed, “For the Concession it is satisfying to announce its affiliation for 2023 with ACI-LAC, being this the representative of the interests of airport operators for Latin America and the Caribbean promoting excellence in the aviation industry.”
Being part of this important Association, the company will have access to different tools and information that will allow it to continue identifying connectivity and airport management scenarios for both the Concession and the airport terminals.
“From the Commercial Department we have not stopped to manage scenarios to expand air connectivity with the different airlines operating nationally and internationally such as Spirit Airlines, Copa Airlines, among other carriers, in addition to representative airlines in the country such as Avianca, Wingo, Latam, Easyfly among many others. On the other hand, we have addressed all market segments in each of our airports, offering commercial variety based on the recognition and experience of our travelers,” said Nelson Rodríguez Cruz.
In the ranking of passengers transported at the level of airport concessions in Colombia, Aeropuertos de Oriente S.A.S., is in the third position according to the statistics of analysis of the Colombian market reported by the Civil Aeronautics, which showed that between January and December 2022, it had a total passenger traffic of more than 8.4 million, resulting in a growth of 56% compared to 2021 and 37% compared to 2019. Likewise, comfort and satisfaction in the attention of passenger requirements are highlighted, according to the annual measurement conducted, showing a 99% in the general satisfaction index for the year 2022.
