The Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA) is pleased to announce the joining of Global Lounge Network as a new ALTA Partner.
It is a company that designs, finances, develops and markets lounges in airports around the world. It currently has 45 VIP lounges serving over 300,000 people per month.
The company, headquartered in Miami, Florida, began operations in April 2014 with the opening of the first lounge at the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, which serves San Juan, Puerto Rico. Today it has a team made up of professionals with over 30 years of experience in the airline industry and 25 years in the development of VIP lounges.
“The travel experience is a key aspect in passenger satisfaction and loyalty, and this happens from the moment they set foot in an airport until they arrive at their destination. Having places where they can feel well served, eat well, work or rest a little is undoubtedly an important part. Having 80% of its lounges are in Latin America, Global Lounge Network has a deep commitment to the region and its growth prospects are really positive.
It is a pleasure to welcome them to ALTA and to start working together so that more and more people get to know the entire ecosystem that is in motion for a passenger to reach their destination,” explains José Ricardo Botelho, ALTA’s CEO.
