As we embrace these advancements, technology becomes essential for boosting operational efficiency, creating seamless travel experiences and gaining a competitive edge.”
Amadeus Airport and Airline Operations Executive Vice President Rudy Daniello said, “All of us at Amadeus convey our congratulations to the airports recognized in this year’s Technology Innovation Awards. Our industry continues to progress towards greater traveller-centricity and major changes in underlying standards and industry technology are about to open a host of new opportunities to do even more. Departure Control Systems, which haven’t fundamentally changed for decades, will evolve into Delivery Management systems. This evolution means tickets, boarding passes and even the check-in process itself may soon be retired in favor of a new, simplified, approach that can underpin a more seamless and personalized airport experience. The implications are significant, with better integration between airline and airport operations, improved disruption management, and entirely new retailing experiences.”
The Airports Innovate event brings together airport leaders, technology innovators, and industry experts to explore innovations in airport operations, passenger experience, and sustainable practices.
