Delta SkyMiles Membership is about so much more than using miles to purchase tickets for travel and earning seat upgrades – it’s about unlocking unforgettable experiences, exclusive events and shareable moments.
That’s why Delta is relaunching SkyMiles Experiences: a centralized gateway to once-in-a-lifetime adventures that go far beyond the flight.
Originally launched in 2016, SkyMiles Experiences has evolved to support the aspirations of today’s consumers. On top of using their miles to bid on Experiences, Members will now enjoy more opportunities to instantly access Experiences using miles. The higher volume of culturally relevant options and covetable events are all available on a fresh, new digital platform. Whether you’re a film and music aficionado, have a passion for culinary delights or love a spa moment, there’s a Collection for everyone.
“Being a SkyMiles Member is about more than traveling from place to place – it’s about being part of an exclusive ecosystem of opportunities tailored to your ambitions,” said Dwight James, S.V.P. – Customer Engagement & Loyalty. “With Delta’s new SkyMiles Experiences platform, we are bringing even more value to our Members while providing creative opportunities that inspire them to explore, discover and connect – even when they’re not flying with us.”
What’s New & How to Access
Members can look forward to unique, exciting experiences that are curated for interests across five Collections: Music & Film, Sports, Culinary, Wellness & Adventure, and Fashion, Art & Design. Experiences will start to go live on Nov. 18, and new experiences will land bi-weekly — some available to instantly purchase with miles, while others will only be up for bid using miles1. Members can expect even more ways to access experiences through Delta’s centennial year in 2025.
While anyone can view the SkyMiles Experiences website, SkyMiles Members must log in to redeem or bid on Experiences, which can be viewed by Collection. Note: some Experiences may have multiple bidding opportunities, and each opportunity is considered a Package.
A Taste of the New SkyMiles Experiences
Through SkyMiles Experiences, Delta will bring in more partners and brands that customers know and love.
Can’t get enough coffee? Then you’ll love the experience with Starbucks, where the winners will get a VIP tour of the original Starbucks store in Pike Place Market and the opportunity to taste and roast coffee with a Starbucks coffee master.
Members with a love for dance, don’t miss the Rockettes® Dance Workshop. Join members of the iconic kickline for a private dance class where you’ll learn Rockettes choreography. Afterward, celebrate the season with the Christmas Spectacular® at Radio City Music Hall®.
And for those just seeking to relax, the Hilton Ultimate Stays Experience will allow Members to bid on four packages across four distinct luxury properties, from private dinners for two in the wine caves at the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach, to an immersive mixology class at the Conrad Orlando, and more.
“Delta is committed to showing our Members that we are innovating beyond the travel journey,” said Alicia Tillman, Chief Marketing Officer. “Access to curated experiences, events and rewards outside of the flight allows us to offer something that resonates with their lifestyle. This isn’t just about rewarding travel – it’s about rewarding a journey that touches every aspect of our Members’ lives.”

The Benefits of Membership
As always, customers can continue to earn an unlimited number of redeemable miles and take advantage of Delta SkyMiles favorites they know and love, including miles that don’t expire, no blackout dates for Award tickets on any Delta Air Lines-operated flight and fast, free onboard Wi-Fi available today on most domestic flights, and continuing to roll out on select remaining regional and international routes into 2025.
1 Once the auction period has ended, winners will be contacted. Members who bid on an experience and do not win will not see a change in the amount of miles on their account.
