In a collaborative effort aimed at nurturing young talents and inspiring future aviators, ENAC (leading aeronautics and aviation university in Europe), Fondation ENAC, ATR and two vocational high schools in Toulouse (Roland Garros and Eugène Montel) have unveiled the ProPulse project.

This innovative initiative stands out as a pioneering and scalable project designed to guide students through their educational journey, bolstering academic success, professional integration, and personal growth. Over the next three years, four students—two from each high school—from sophomore to senior year, will be supported by both ATR professionals and ENAC students. Each academic year will welcome four new students to the project, nurturing a new generation of aviation enthusiasts and professionals.

Facilitating Professional Integration

At the core of ProPulse lies the mission to introduce students from local vocational high schools to the dynamic field of aviation. By creating concrete opportunities to engage with ATR professionals and receive guidance from ENAC students, this mentorship programme aims to help high schoolers gain insights into the diverse trajectories within our industry, enhance their technical and professional skills, as well as acquire essential soft skills for their integration into the corporate world.

Inspiring Ambition and Combating School Dropout

ProPulse strives to instill ambition in youth and combat school dropout rates and self-censorship. By supporting students in their personal and professional endeavors, we aim to encourage students to envision a future brimming with possibilities and surmount obstacles that may hinder their paths.

Maria Teresa Pedra Bruñó, ATR’s Head of Human Resources, emphasizes: “Regional aviation is the vital link connecting communities, and as a responsible business, ATR takes this social role to heart. Guiding young students, unveiling the aviation world to them, nurturing their professional aspirations, and equipping them with the necessary tools to embrace fascinating careers, align with our commitment to breaking down barriers and fostering a more inclusive and sustainable ecosystem.”
