26 de Marzo generales sin gente-06-2
  • Located in the well-known Microcentro area, at Florida Street 202 (corner of Juan Domingo Perón), it will welcome customers and the general public until April 25
  • In addition to experiencing the onboard service and tasting the menus offered in Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins, visitors can take control of an aircraft in a flight simulator, participate in wine, ham, and other Spanish product tastings, and visit the exhibition of the company’s historical uniforms.
  • Buenos Aires was the first Latin American destination Iberia flew to in 1946, a journey that began the airline’s successful history in the region, making it a leader in connectivity on this ‘air bridge’ today.
  • Following the recent capacity increase, Iberia offers three daily flights between Madrid and Buenos Aires, allowing more than 2,000 people to be transported on this route daily, which will translate to more than 725,000 seats in 2025.

Espacio Iberia has officially opened its doors in the heart of Buenos Aires, at the emblematic Florida Street 202, one of the city’s tourism hubs due to its pedestrian nature, and which will become the airline’s home in the city over the coming weeks.

Specifically, Espacio Iberia will be open from March 27 to April 25, offering visitors the chance to experience Iberia without leaving the city: try the seats of the A350 that operates the route between the two countries and taste the onboard menus, pilot an aircraft thanks to a flight simulator, learn about the company’s history through its historical uniforms, and, of course, participate in various events such as wine, ham, and other typical Spanish product tastings, as well as showcooking and other surprises.

Iberia Space is open from 11 AM to 7 PM on weekdays, while on weekends it slightly adjusts its opening hours, from 12 PM to 8 PM on Saturdays and Sundays.

Although the doors are open to the general public, those who want to enjoy the experiences can book them in advance for free through the dedicated website: www.espacio.iberia.com.

“After three editions of Espacio Iberia in Madrid, one in Bogotá, and one in Mexico City, we wanted to bring our experience to Argentina, a market that is not only a priority for the company but also one to which we owe a lot, as it was with this route that we began our history with Latin America almost 80 years ago. That is why we want, through this space, to give back the trust that Argentinians have given us for so many years,” says Gemma Juncá, Iberia’s Brand and Marketing Director.

In addition to the opportunity to taste the onboard menus, use the flight simulator, discover Iberia’s history through its uniforms, and participate in the various tastings that will be held, the agenda of Espacio Iberia will be full of surprises for all tastes. To mention a few, there will be events with LALIGA, talks with Julieta Venegas and Margarita Morfino, Fer Dente and Valentina Zenere, some of the country’s main radio and streaming programs will be broadcast from Espacio Iberia, there will be music concerts, and other types of gatherings such as the one featuring chef Ugo Chan with Argentine counterparts, among many other surprises.

Record Capacity

The celebration of Iberia Space in Buenos Aires coincides with the recent capacity increase that Iberia has made in the market, now offering three daily flights and the ability to transport more than 2,000 people across the ocean each day.

In fact, along with Colombia and Mexico, Argentina is the market with the highest connectivity in Iberia’s long-haul network, with more than 725,000 seats between Buenos Aires and Madrid throughout 2025, the highest figure in this route’s history.

The route is operated with Airbus A350s, the largest and most advanced aircraft in Iberia’s fleet, equipped with the latest technology and designed to fly with maximum efficiency, reducing CO2 emissions by 30 to 35%.
