Iberia just published its long-haul flight schedule for the upcoming 2025-2026 winter season, during which connectivity between Europe and Latin America will once again reach historic levels, with more than 355 weekly flights to Latin America and a total of 2.4 million seats for sale, consolidating the airline’s leadership for another year with the largest offering in the market.

Chile, Peru, and the Dominican Republic will be the destinations where Iberia will increase its presence the most compared to last winter. Specifically, Santiago de Chile will have two more frequencies than in 2024, reaching 12 weekly flights and over 176,000 seats, 20% more than the previous year.

Lima will increase its service frequency from 13 to 14 weekly flights, which means there will be two daily flights, allowing approximately 1,360 people to travel between Spain and Peru each day.

Santo Domingo will also have more flights than last winter, reaching up to 13 weekly flights some months. In total, Iberia will offer around 142,000 seats throughout the season.

The rest of Iberia’s operations in Latin America in the winter of 2024-2025 remain unchanged, consolidating the increases made last year. Thus, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, and Mexico City will continue to have three daily flights each way, i.e., 21 weekly frequencies.

Sao Paulo will have 14 weekly frequencies—two daily in each direction—and Rio de Janeiro will have up to five weekly frequencies.

Quito will have 7 frequencies – one daily flight – as will San José, Costa Rica, San Juan, Puerto Rico, and Montevideo.

Caracas will have five weekly frequencies, while San Salvador and Guatemala will have four weekly frequencies.

Guayaquil, Panama, and Havana, for their part, will have 3 weekly flights.

“Our goal is not only to continue consolidating our position as the leading airline between Europe and Latin America, but also to offer a stable and consistent flight schedule that strengthens our customers’ trust. For the upcoming winter season, we have planned capacity increases which we intend to consolidate to offer greater travel opportunities to those who choose to fly with us,” said María Jesús López Solás, Iberia’s Commercial, Network Development, Alliances and Customers Director.
