Of the 1,921 flights scheduled, 800 are set to depart from Madrid airport. For this first summer weekend, the most in-demand destinations among Iberia Group’s customers include Spanish beach hotspots such as Barcelona, Gran Canaria, Tenerife, Palma de Mallorca, and Ibiza; European capitals like London, Paris, and Rome; and Latin American cities such as Bogotá and Mexico City.

A Record-Breaking Summer

Iberia has scheduled a capacity increase across nearly all its markets for the summer season. The most significant growth is seen in its Latin American network, where the airline is the undisputed market leader, operating 18 destinations across 16 countries. In total, Iberia will offer 3.2 million seats between Spain and Latin America—a 4% increase compared to summer 2024.

In the short- and medium-haul sectors, 16 million seats have been made available, in line with last year’s offering. Notable increases include the Rome route, with up to seven daily flights, and Paris, with up to 11 flights on certain days.

Iberia has also resumed seasonal flights to Ponta Delgada, Funchal, and Faro in Portugal; Tirana in Albania; Ljubljana in Slovenia; and Greek islands such as Santorini, Mykonos, and Corfu.

The summer schedule is rounded out with popular leisure destinations like Dubrovnik, Zagreb, and Split in Croatia, and Catania, Olbia, Cagliari, and Palermo in Italy.
