Iberia has resumed its flights to two of its most unique summer destinations: Ponta Delgada, in the Azores Islands, and Tirana, the capital of Albania. With this, the airline reinforces its commitment to offering a diverse and attractive network of destinations for travellers during the summer season. These two destinations join Iberia’s usual summer routes, such as Dubrovnik, Mykonos, and Catania, among others.
Over 19,000 seats between Madrid and Ponta Delgada
Iberia will operate three weekly flights between Madrid and Ponta Delgada—on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays —offering a total of more than 19,000 seats between June and September. This marks the third consecutive summer that Iberia offers direct operations from Madrid.

Following the success of last year’s inaugural route, the Spanish airline also resumed its direct flights to Tirana, with up to three weekly frequencies—on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays —and a total of more than 18,000 seats available during the summer season.
