  • An increase of 6.1% in domestic and 9.8% in international in terms of seat miles (ASMs) were achieved.

Viva announced its June 2025 preliminary traffic results. Viva’s passenger traffic increased 6.1% compared to June 2024, reaching 2.5 million passengers, driven by an increase of 5.8% and 9.2% in domestic and international traffic, respectively.

Viva grew its total capacity in available seat miles (ASMs) by 6.8% compared to June 2024, reflecting an increase of 6.1% and 9.8% in domestic and international, respectively. Load factors reached 86.0% compared to 88.7% in 2024, with a load factor mix of 87.1% and 80.9% in domestic and international, respectively.

“June delivered solid traffic performance with passengers increasing 6.1% YoY and a load factor of 86.0%. As we move into the summer season, we remain focused on matching capacity to demand, reflecting a conservative stance as consumer behavior continues to adjust in a more cautious environment. We keep working to maintain operational efficiency and reliability given the ongoing the Pratt & Whitney engine issues”, said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO of Viva.
