Viva has announced its September 2025 preliminary traffic results. Viva’s passenger traffic increased 3.4% compared to September 2024, reaching 2.4 million passengers, driven by an increase of 3.6% and 2.0% in domestic and international traffic, respectively.
Viva grew its total capacity in available seat miles (ASMs) by 0.7% compared to September 2024, reflecting flat domestic capacity and an increase of 4.3% in international. Load factors stood at 86.1% from 88.1% in 2024, with a load factor mix of 87.9% and 78.1% in domestic and international, respectively.
“During September, passenger volumes rose 3.4%, reflecting a continued balance between domestic and international markets with a stable load factor of 86.1%. We continue adapting our network to current macroeconomic conditions, particularly during off-peak periods. In addition to a complex demand environment, engine availability issues continue to pressure our operations, and we continue prioritizing efforts to mitigate their effects,” said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO of Viva.
