The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the Air Cargo Forum 2025, held November 3-6, 2025, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. This year’s edition marked an important milestone as the first Air Cargo Forum ever hosted in Abu Dhabi, underscoring the city’s growing role as a key hub for global air cargo and logistics.
Organized in partnership with Etihad Cargo, the event was also notable for being the first annual edition of the Forum and the first to be staged in a major sports arena, reflecting TIACA’s continued efforts to evolve and expand its global presence.
The three-day event gathered air cargo professionals, logistics experts, policymakers, and technology innovators from around the world. Participants engaged in a full program of conference sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities exploring key industry topics such as digital transformation, sustainability, Middle Eastern cargo growth, and supply chain resilience.
“Abu Dhabi provided an excellent setting for this year’s Air Cargo Forum,” said Glyn Hughes, TIACA Director General. “The city’s infrastructure and connectivity offered a fitting backdrop for productive discussions about the future of our industry. The engagement and collaboration we saw throughout the event were encouraging and demonstrate the continued strength of the global air cargo community.”
Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer of Etihad Airways, shared: “As the official sponsor and host airline of the Air Cargo Forum 2025, it was a great opportunity to welcome the global logistics community to Abu Dhabi. The event highlighted the city’s growing role as a centre for innovation, collaboration, and sustainable growth in air cargo. Working alongside TIACA and bringing the industry together here reinforces Abu Dhabi’s position as a key hub connecting East and West, where partnerships are forged, ideas are exchanged, and the future of logistics continues to take shape.”
Delegates also participated in a range of networking and social activities, including a special evening event at Ferrari World, which offered additional opportunities for business connections in a unique setting.
“Bringing the Air Cargo Forum to Abu Dhabi for the first time was an important step in expanding TIACA’s reach and inclusivity. We greatly appreciate the hospitality and support shown by our hosts and partners, which helped make the event both engaging and memorable.” commented Roos Bakker, TIACA Chair
Based on the positive feedback from attendees, TIACA plans to return to Abu Dhabi in 2027, with dates to be confirmed.
