The Director-President of Aena Brasil, Santiago Yus, presented, at the Palácio do Planalto that houses the Office of the President of the Republic in Brasilia, the formalization of the investment plan aimed at the expansion and modernization of the Block of 11 airports managed by Aena Brasil in the states of São Paulo, Mato Grosso do Sul, Minas Gerais and Pará.
The financing of the plan will be borne by the BNDES (National Bank for Economic and Social Development) and Banco Santander. The event was attended by the President of the Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, and several Brazilian cabinet ministers and authorities.
Santiago Yus stated that “beyond the significant financial volume, 5.7 billion Brazilian reais, this investment reflects confidence in Brazil’s growth and in Aena’s ability to contribute to that development.”
