Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Justin Erbacci announced two new executive appointments. Ms. Becca Doten will serve as Chief Airport Affairs Officer and Mr. Douglas G. Webster will serve as the Deputy Executive Director for Operations.

“Los Angeles World Airports is in the midst of an ambitious capital improvement program to modernize every aspect of our airports, and Douglas Webster and Becca Doten have the operational insights and strategic approach that will help us reach our goal of creating world-class airports that provide economic benefit to our local communities and region,” said Justin Erbacci, CEO, LAWA. “Their professionalism and experience will bolster the executive team as we all continue to respond to and recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and look ahead to a very bright future.”

Becca Doten is being promoted into the role of Chief Airport Affairs Officer. Since November 2021, she has served as the Interim Chief Corporate Strategy and Affairs Officer. Previously, she served as the Deputy Executive Director for Public & Government Affairs. She joined LAWA in 2017 as the Director of Public Relations. Ms. Doten brings nearly two decades of experience in communications, government affairs, community relations and public policy at the city, county and state level. In her new role, Ms. Doten will take on the role of Chief of Staff to the CEO, serve as LAWA’s official liaison to LAX airline partners, and oversee the following units: Public Relations, Community Relations, Government Relations, Airport Marketing and Air Service Development.

Douglas G. Webster was selected as the new Deputy Executive Director for Operations after an international search that attracted highly skilled and experienced candidates. Before coming to LAWA, Mr. Webster served as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President for Delhi International Airport. An accomplished aviation professional, Mr. Webster has three decades of rich experience in airports and aviation. His broad background encompasses airport operations, airlines expertise, strategic planning, terminal transition planning, staffing, transformation, customer service automation and stakeholder management. Mr. Webster has previously served as a Deputy Director with Hollywood Airport in Florida and as a General Manager with Northwest Airlines. In his new role, Mr. Webster will be responsible for all aspects of airport operations, including airside, terminals and landside operations. He will report to the Deputy Executive Director for Operations and Maintenance, Mike Christensen.
