Azul S.A., “Azul”, the largest airline in Brazil by departures and number of cities served, announced its preliminary traffic results for February 2022.

Consolidated passenger traffic (RPKs) increased 20.1% compared to February 2021 on a capacity (ASKs) increase of 20.7%, resulting in a load factor of 78.0%, a reduction of 0.4 percentage points compared to the same period in 2021.

“Once again in February we saw demand surpassing pre-pandemic levels, allowing us to maintain our rational capacity deployment and leverage the sustainable competitive advantages of our network and business model,” says John Rodgerson, Azul’s CEO.
