After nine decades of history, AJW Group continues its expansion into new regions and business lines, with digital developments to complement the optimization of MRO management. For this, the company positions itself as an independent, full-service provider of supply chain solutions, repair, lease, engines, and parts for commercial, business, and civil aerospace.

We are proud to announce today that AJW joins as a new affiliate member of the Latin American and Caribbean Air Transport Association (ALTA).

“We are pleased to welcome AJW Group, a key player in the end-to-end value chain of commercial aviation. This partnership will allow us to continue transforming operations, raising safety standards, and optimizing process and cost efficiency. I am confident that AJW’s participation in our committees, working groups, and forums to exchange the best practices will strengthen beneficial ties that nurture further success in the region,” says José Ricardo Botelho, ALTA’s Executive Director & CEO.

“The AJW team is delighted to join ALTA as an affiliate member, reinforcing our commitment to capability expansion in the Americas. With our world-class 220,000-square-foot component repair facility in Montreal, our hub in Miami, local inventory hubs, and extensive supply chain infrastructure across the region, we are uniquely positioned to support our trusted customers in the Latin American and Caribbean region seamlessly. Membership will enable us to partner and problem-solve as a community, working in unison with the ALTA member airlines and service providers. In parallel, we will bring our extensive technical expertise to engage in the Technical Maintenance & Procurement working group. During the ALTA CCMA & MRO, held earlier this year, we received the recognition as one of the top three suppliers in the region, a clear testament to our outstanding legacy, founded on dependable turnaround time, cost, and quality,” says Sajedah Rustom, CEO and Board Director of AJW Technique.

The company, founded by Anthony James Walter in 1932, supports over 1000 airlines in 100 countries worldwide, offering global spare parts management services for commercial and business aircraft, in addition to the supply, exchange, repair, and lease of airframe and engine components.

Airlines operating in the region recognized AJW as one of the best suppliers in ALTA’s annual Supplier Survey, considering over 170 suppliers based on the following indicators: quality of the service/ product, delivery time, and customer support.

The company has operating centers and local offices in Africa, Asia Pacific, China, CIS, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North America.
