For the fifth time in a row, TAP’s Stopover programme has been voted the best stopover programme by Global Traveler at the Leisure Lifestyle Awards, presented in Philadelphia.
The prize was awarded after a consultation with over 550,000 readers between 22nd December 2022 and 1st of April 2023. Francis Gallagher, publisher and group CEO of FXExpress, says its users “know the best of the best in the travel industry, and this winners’ list is perfectly timed for the kick-off to summer travel. Congratulations, winners – these accolades are well-deserved.”
TAP’s Stopover programme was renewed this year and allows customers to discover even better and explore Portugal before heading to their final destination, but now also on their return home.
TAP passengers can add Portugal to their trip with a free stopover of up to 10 days, with over 290 exclusive offers and discounts at 115 partners, in a partnership with Turismo de Portugal. They also have a 25% discount for a trip with TAP within the country, to discover tourist destinations such as Porto and Norte, the Algarve or Madeira and the Azores, via a promotional code that can be used on the Company’s website (www.flytap.com) or at travel agencies.
TAP’s Air Portugal Stopover is mainly aimed at the Company’s long-haul markets, namely the Brazilian and North American markets, but is available in all markets where TAP operates.
