- Taking the Lead in Responsible Transportation
As the world faces growing environment and climate change related issues, ATR, manufacturer of the lowest emission aircraft on the regional market, once again steps forward to make a significant impact during the European Mobility Week 2023, scheduled from September 16th to 22nd. At the heart of this initiative lies ATR’s commitment to promoting responsible modes of daily transportation and limiting the impact of the business and products on the environment. ATR is calling upon its employees to be part of this journey towards a more sustainable future. This movement relies on the adoption of more responsible commuting options and demonstrates ATR’s dedication to promoting low-emission connectivity.
One of the standout events during this week is the “BIKE IT Day” inviting employees to embrace cycling as a means of commuting to work. Participants not only reduce their carbon footprint but will also enjoy breakfast with their fellow riders at the ATR Headquarters in Blagnac.
As part of ATR’s commitment to responsible transportation, a Bike Repair Stand will be available. This initiative promotes bicycle use by offering on-site repair services, ensuring that employees’ bikes are in top condition for commuting.
We believe we have a role to play in acting in an exemplary manner and help find solutions to current global challenges such as climate change. As part of its many initiatives, ATR offers a full 100% refund on travel passes to its employees, who also have the option of two days of telework each week.
ATR is also partnering with Karos for the “Grand Défi Mobilité Durable.” (Sustainable Mobility Challenge). From September 11th to 29th 2023, employees can embrace carpooling to minimise the environmental impact of their daily commutes. For more information on the challenge, click here.
ATR believes that every contribution counts toward making a meaningful difference. With the active participation of its employees, ATR is paving the way for a more responsible future, one commute at a time, proving that responsible practices start at every level of the business.
