The Airport Agency, founder of CONNECT Aviation, is delighted to announce the second edition of CONNECT New World, the route development forum for the Caribbean and the Americas.

The event will take place in Curaçao, in the Southern Caribbean, a unique location, situated between South and North America.

It is hosted by Curaçao Tourism Development Foundation, Curaçao International Airport, and Curaçao Airport Holding. Home to 55 culture and known as the largest of the ABC islands, Curaçao is serviced by major airlines with frequent direct/nonstop flights from North America and Europe. It offers something for everyone: breathtaking landscapes, mouthwatering blend of cuisines.

Following the success of the launch event in Santo Domingo last June, the aviation community will be meeting again in 2024 to discuss air service development opportunities in a time and cost-effective format with decision-makers from airlines, airports, suppliers, and tourism authorities.

Karin Butot, CEO of the Airport Agency says: “We are very excited to take our event next year to beautiful Curaçao and look forward to working with our hosts, Curaçao Tourism Development Foundation to stage a second successful event which will showcase the destination to the aviation community whilst delivering invaluable networking opportunities.

As aviation is entering a new era embracing challenges as well as reaffirming its unique role in supporting world and regional economies. CONNECT aims to serve the aviation community with purposeful events that not only deliver real value but also create memories for all to share and cherish.

We look to welcome more airlines and airports in Curaçao next year to join and experience a beautiful part of the world.”

Ruisandro Cijntje, Minister of Economic Development of Curaçao says:

“As the Minister of Economic Development, I am very pleased and proud that Curaçao is hosting the second edition of CONNECT New World. It is a great honor for us to welcome the aviation industry from the Americas and the Caribbean to our beautiful island. During your visit, I also encourage you to take full advantage of the opportunities to explore Curaçao and feel it for yourself!”
