Azul S.A., “Azul” or the “Company”, the largest airline in Brazil in terms of number of flights and cities served, announced its results preliminary results for the period ending September 30, 2023 through a summary release of the results and presentation to investors, and the postponement of the filing of quarterly information for the three- and nine-month periods ending September 30, 2023 with the opinion of the independent auditor.

Azul is releasing these preliminary results to keep the market and all stakeholders properly updated.

As previously announced, the Company recently implemented a comprehensive capital optimization plan, which has generated new contracts with virtually all of its lessors and equipment manufacturers. Due to the considerable volume and complexity of work to ensure that all effects of these contracts are correctly reflected in the financial statements, it was not possible for the Company and the independent auditors to complete this work within 45 days after the end of the quarter, which is the deadline required by the Securities and Exchange Commission (“CVM”) for a limited quarterly analysis.

Azul does not expect adjustments or changes to the information disclosed to be necessary. However, if any adjustments are necessary, the Company will keep the market duly informed.

The Company expects to complete the work by November 30th. The Company’s annual calendar of corporate events was re-presented nowadays and is available for consultation on the websites of the CVM (gov.br/cvm), B3 S.A. – Brasil, Bolsa, Balcão (www.b3.com.br) and the Company (www.voeazul.com.br/ri).
