  • Flybondi is the first and only airline in the world to give passengers the freedom to do whatever they want with their tickets
  • Resale is the new option with the 3.0 Ticket
  • In simple steps, users will be able to access the first global marketplace where they can buy and sell their tickets
  • With this new benefit, users will have more flexibility when traveling

Flybondi introduces a unique function in the aviation industry: for the first time in history, all its domestic tickets can be resold between passengers. Argentina’s first low-cost airline announces the new resale benefit for its 3.0 Ticket, which is in addition to the possibility to change the name on the ticket, transfer the ticket, and give it away to another person. In this way, the airline transforms tickets into assets that users can manage in an easy, safe, and autonomous way.

Together with TravelX, a company offering technological solutions to enhance the passengers experience and create new income opportunities for airlines, the first marketplace worldwide has been created where users can buy and/or sell their airline tickets.

3.0 Ticket offers a unique experience: it enables users to purchase tickets without the need to define their travel plans or who the travelers will be, and to sell those tickets in case they don’t use them. This benefit is available for all domestic routes where the airline operates.

“Offering our passengers this unique worldwide possibility to resell their tickets consolidate Flybondi’s innovative DNA. We have been working hard to give users the power to decide what they want to do with their tickets: give them away to other people, change the ownership of the tickets, transfer them, and now also resell them”, stated Federico Pastori, Flybondi’s Chief Commercial Officer, who added that: “the ticket belongs 100% to the passengers. The idea of all 3.0 Ticket benefits is to, ultimately, give passengers even more freedom to fly and the possibility to do whatever they want with their tickets”.

In addition, Juan Pablo Lafosse, TravelX’s CEO, explained that: “together with Flybondi, by launching the Resale function, we keep marking global milestones in the air commercial industry. The 3.0 Ticket transforms airline tickets into digital assets, which gives passengers unprecedented flexibility and airlines the ability to exponentially expand their inventory management and create new income sources at the same time” and he added that “we call this last idea Dynamic Inventory, which is developed with TravelX’s technology”.

This is how the resale of 3.0 Tickets works:

How to manage the ticket? To give away, transfer, or resell tickets, passengers have to access their 3.0 Ticket account, where they will find all their tickets.

Marketplace login: tickets are resold through a platform specifically created to that end. There you can see the tickets published by other passengers: https://ticket3puntocero.flybondi.com/reventa

How to buy resale tickets: buyers will be able to access the platform and search for available tickets. In case they want to purchase a ticket, they need to create a 3.0 Ticket account.

How to resell tickets: users who want to sell their tickets need to access the “Resell” option in their 3.0 Ticket account.

Select a base sale price. There isn’t a maximum price. Ticket owners can establish any price they want, as long as it is not below the price at which they originally bought the ticket.

What happens if nobody purchases the ticket. Taking into account that tickets can be resold up to 48 hours before the flight’s departure, if nobody has purchased it by that time, resellers can carry out the same operations as with any ticket of the company: they can travel, transfer the ticket, or change the name or date on it. If the date is changed, the ticket can be offered again for sale.

Flybondi democratized the access to air carriage as a means of transportation and revolutionized the travel industry at a global level with unprecedented innovations.
