Delta and LATAM announced that they will be the official airlines of the Copa América 2024, an international soccer championship from June 20 to July 14 in 14 venues across the United States.
Additionally, LATAM Group will offer exclusive promotions in some of the championship’s destinations in the next few days, as well as ticket raffles among its most loyal customers, so that they can attend one of the world’s most important soccer events, which this year will bring together 16 American teams.
Furthermore, LATAM will transform its lounges in the region into spaces for fans to enjoy the tournament’s different matches on a giant screen. Fans will have access to comfortable spaces, cocktails, food, and WiFi, among other things.
“In less than a month, athletes and attendees from different countries of the continent will travel to compete and enjoy this great sporting event, so good air connectivity is essential for the success of this tournament. For this reason, this announcement is perfectly complemented by the Joint Venture between LATAM and Delta because it will demonstrate that together it is possible to contribute to greater and better connectivity between South and North America,” says Constanza Pizarro, Corporate Communications Manager of Latam Airlines Group.
“The fact that Delta and the LATAM group, the airlines that best connect South and North America, are the sponsors of the Copa America 2024 is the perfect example of how both regions are ‘meant to be together’. Both airlines share a vision and commitment to deliver an exceptional travel experience to all fans who mobilize to cheer on their teams,” said Soledad Lago Rodríguez, Director of Communications and Brand for Delta Air Lines.
