  • The Iberia Group offered this weekend more than 1,100 seats to travel to Germany and support the Spanish National Team.

Iberia Express usually offers three daily flights to Berlin, operated with Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 180 passengers, which means 540 seats per day in each direction. To facilitate fans’ travel to Berlin, a larger plane (A321neo with capacity for 232 passengers) was scheduled for flights at 3:55 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, and at 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. :55 on Sunday. This meant 208 additional places.

Likewise, Iberia increased the caliber of flights to Hamburg and Prague between Sunday and Monday, destinations where a surge in demand was seen due to the Final, so it offered 8% more seats.

In addition, Iberia and Iberia Express each are operating an additional flight, with an A350 and A321 respectively, today Monday from Berlin to Madrid to bring fans and families.

And the National Team will fly, once again, with Iberia back to Spain today, Monday at noon.
