Caribbean Airlines Limited continues to seek a fair and equitable resolution to the ongoing good-faith negotiations with the Trinidad and Tobago Airline Pilots Association (TTALPA) over terms and conditions of employment for its pilots. Salary negotiations relate to the additional increases for pilots for the period of 2015 to 2023.

In December 2024, Caribbean Airlines and TTALPA successfully concluded negotiations over the collective agreement for the period 2015–2020. As a result, the airline has made payments to pilots totaling approximately TT$14 million, based on the agreed additional increase of 4% to salaries. This is in addition to the 14.5% average cumulative increase to salaries that pilots already received during that period.

With this aspect of negotiations concluded, Caribbean Airlines is confident that agreement can be reached over additional increases for the period 2020 – 2023 and will continue negotiations with TTALPA. The Union has provided a proposal to the airline that is currently being reviewed. Caribbean Airlines has proposed dates for discussions to take place and is keen to reach agreement at the earliest opportunity. The company upholds its commitment to working collaboratively with TTALPA in this and in all regards.

Caribbean Airlines further acknowledges the contributions of all its employees, including its dedicated team of pilots, and remains steadfast in maintaining a positive and respectful industrial relations climate
