  • The carrier adds seasonal service to Los Angeles, Seattle and Sydney; introduces its Boeing 787 Dreamliner on the Seattle–Tokyo route

Hawaiian Airlines is enhancing its winter schedule with increased service on key routes to meet strong seasonal demand for travel between Honolulu and Los Angeles, Seattle and Sydney. Guests can also now book seats aboard Hawaiian’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner between Seattle (SEA) and Tokyo’s Narita (NRT) for travel starting in January.

“We’re excited to offer our guests more options to connect with loved ones or enjoy a warm winter getaway,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of revenue management and network planning at Alaska Airlines. “These schedule enhancements reflect our commitment to providing convenient, comfortable travel during the busiest travel period of the year.”

Hawaiian’s Winter 2025-26 Schedule Enhancements:

  • Honolulu (HNL) – Sydney (SYD): Hawaiian will increase service from five flights weekly to daily between Dec. 18, 2025, and Jan. 31, 2026, aligning with the peak travel season between Hawaiʻi and Australia.
  • Honolulu (HNL) – Los Angeles (LAX): A fifth daily flight operated by an Airbus A321neo will be added during two peak travel windows: Nov. 21 – Dec. 1, 2025, and Dec. 19, 2025 – Jan. 6, 2026. The additional service will provide more seats during high-demand periods when guests prefer to travel.
  • Honolulu (HNL) – Seattle (SEA): Hawaiian is adding a fourth daily widebody flight between late November and mid-April, replacing an existing A321neo service. The new schedule includes a morning departure from Honolulu and an early evening return from Seattle, bringing the total to six daily flights (including two operated by Alaska Airlines).
  • Hawaiian will replace the Airbus A330 with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner on its SEA-NRT route beginning early January through mid-April. The Dreamliner features Hawaiian’s new Leihōkū Suites with lie-flat seating, enhanced privacy, and direct aisle access, along with a quieter cabin, larger windows, and advanced inflight entertainment—delivering a more restful and refined journey across the Pacific.
