Leaders from Miami International Airport and Miami-based cargo airline 7Air gathered at MIA yesterday to celebrate the airline’s launch of service at the global cargo gateway with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of its B737-800SF aircraft.
With three such aircraft currently in operation and a fourth scheduled to join its fleet by the end of 2025, 7Air now flies 20 weekly all-cargo flights between MIA and Managua, Nicaragua, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and San Juan, Puerto Rico. It has also operated charter flights to Lima, Peru, and Kingston, Jamaica. Since its first flight from MIA in April, 7Air has already surpassed three million kilograms (3,307 tons) of cargo shipments.
7Air LLC is the latest FAA 121 carrier, a dedicated cargo airline with a fleet of B737-800 freighters able to accommodate diverse cargo types. 7Air has forged partnerships with cargo operators, ground handling agents, and freight forwarders to establish a reliable and efficient network. With the certification process now completed, 7 AIR, LLC is positioned to emerge as a fully accredited carrier, poised to deliver top-tier cargo transportation services tailored to the needs of businesses and industries world-wide.
