Viva has announced its August 2025 preliminary traffic results. Viva’s passenger traffic increased 8.2% compared to August 2024, reaching 2.7 million passengers, driven by an increase of 8.0% and 9.9% in domestic and
international traffic, respectively.

Viva grew its total capacity in available seat miles (ASMs) by 4.9% compared to August 2024, reflecting an increase of 3.8% and 9.8% in domestic and international, respectively. Load factors improved to 89.5% from 89.2% in 2024, with a load factor mix
of 90.9% and 83.0% in domestic and international, respectively.

“Passenger volumes rose 8.2% in August, driven by balanced growth in domestic and international markets as the summer season concluded. Load factors improved as our network demonstrated resilience and benefitted from the extended summer school break. Capacity deployment remains disciplined as we adjust to the current demand conditions. While the Pratt & Whitney engine situation has drawn less attention over time, it continues to affect our operations and we remain focused on mitigating its impact,” said Juan Carlos Zuazua, CEO of Viva.
