Tropic Air’s most recent factory-new Grand Caravan EX aircraft, V3-HJE (Hotel Juliet Echo), is the fifth and final aircraft in its order of five delivered for the 2025-2026 Fleet Expansion Initiative, bringing the airline’s all-Caravan fleet to 15 aircraft, the youngest in Belize, and across the region, and reinforcing a strategic investment in modern, reliable and resilient operations that enhance safety, performance, and the passenger experience.

The aircraft was received on behalf of Tropic Air by Simeon Chiac, a Belize Defence Force veteran and seasoned aviation professional with over 30 years of experience across defense, regulation and airline operations. Mr. Chiac currently serves as Tropic Air’s Quality Assurance Manager, overseeing compliance, safety, and maintenance quality across the fleet.
