Aruba Airport Authority N.V. (AAA) proudly hosted a Carnival Prizing Ceremony to honor the winners of the SMAC Carnival events, including the Carnival Monarchs, as part of Aruba’s 72nd Carnival season.
As a dedicated supporter of Aruba’s cultural heritage, AAA partnered with SMAC to recognize the individuals whose passion, creativity, and dedication keep Carnival alive year after year. During the ceremony, AAA expressed its appreciation to the winners and participants, acknowledging their important role in preserving and celebrating Aruba’s cultural identity.
“Carnival is an important part of Aruba’s culture and heritage,” said Marylin Feliciana, Marketing & Communications Manager at Aruba Airport Authority. “The participants are the ones who keep this tradition alive through their dedication and talent. At AAA, we are proud to support Carnival and thank those who continue to carry our culture forward for future generations.”
During the ceremony, the Carnival Monarchs and winners received AUA goodie bags along with travel vouchers, allowing them to travel to destinations of their choice served by Aruba’s Queen Beatrix International Airport. These include routes to Argentina, Colombia, Peru, the United States, and several destinations across the Caribbean, highlighting Aruba Airport’s growing connectivity.
As Carnival celebrations continue, AAA also extends its appreciation to all Carnival participants and musicians taking part in the upcoming parades, and to SMAC, the official organizing body of Carnival events, for their continued efforts in keeping this cultural tradition alive.
As the gateway to the island for air travelers, Aruba Airport plays a key role in connecting Aruba’s culture to the world. Through continued support of Carnival activities, AAA remains committed to celebrating Aruba’s heritage, strengthening tourism, and supporting the community that makes Carnival possible.
