Iberia’s activity in Spain contributed €13 billion to GDP and generated 177,000 jobs in 2024

Source: Iberia Iberia’s operations generated €13.227 billion in Spain’s GDP, representing 0.87% of the national GDP and more than 177,469 jobs, or 0.9% of total employment in Spain, according to a report by PwC. The airline’s corporate contribution amounted to €4.388 billion in GDP and over 34,000 jobs, while passenger spending contributed €8.839 billion and 142,987 jobs. Iberia’s purpose is to generate prosperity by connecting people with the world. Neste starts to supply sustainable aviation fuel to FedEx at Los Angeles International Airport, marking the first major U.S. SAF deployment by FedEx

Airbus next-generation Skynet satellite reaches major milestone

Source: Airbus Skynet 6A will provide the UK with next-generation military communications The UK’s next-generation military communications satellite - Skynet 6A - has successfully completed the coupling of its communications and service modules. The spacecraft - designed and built at Airbus’ Stevenage and Portsmouth plants - will provide vital communications services for Britain’s armed forces and achieved the major milestone at the National Satellite Test Facility (NSTF) in Harwell, Oxfordshire.
