American Airlines Education Foundation awards nearly $1 million in scholarship funds

Source: American Airlines 340 students in eight countries received a scholarship from the American Airlines Education Foundation. 100 scholarship winners are first-generation college students. As students prepare to return to the classroom this fall, the American Airlines Education Foundation is helping ease the cost of higher education by providing nearly $1 million in scholarship funds to 340 students who are dependents of the airline’s team members. Air Travel Consumer Report: February 2023 Airline Complaint Data

The release of 2023 consumer complaint data has been delayed primarily because of the increase in consumer complaints received this calendar year compared to the prior two years.
