Brussels Airlines starts new year with a first delivery of Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel to Brussels Airport via CEPS pipeline

Source: Neste Brussels Airlines, the flag carrier of Belgium and part of the Lufthansa Group, has started the new year by being the first airline receiving a delivery of Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel™ at Brussels Airport for the first time using the NATO Central European Pipeline System (CEPS). Aviation fuel is supplied by CEPS to commercial airports in Europe, and from 1 January 2023 these airports can also receive sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) via the pipeline system. UEFA Champions League themed aircraft of Turkish Airlines is in the skies

Source: TSA The Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 Omnibus Appropriations Bill signed Thursday by the President includes funding to bring TSA employee compensation to a level commensurate with other federal agencies. It also supports funding to expand collective bargaining rights for our screening workforce. After years of advocating for fair pay for TSA employees, the provision allows the agency to bring pay rates in alignment with other federal agencies, effective July 1, 2023. Air Canada has resumed Miami-Vancouver route after 18 years

Source: MIA Miami International Airport welcomed the return of Miami-Vancouver service. Air Canada has launched three weekly flights to the most populous city in Canada's British Columbia province and the country's third-largest metropolitan area. The route, which was last served in 2004, gives MIA its longest North American route and nonstop flights to its largest unserved North American market. Officials from Miami-Dade County and Air Canada celebrated the route launch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and refreshments for the inaugural passengers. Pilots and Air Traffic Controllers May Receive Johnson & Johnson’s Vaccine, With Appropriate Precautions

Source: FAA Following the Emergency Use Authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen COVID-19 vaccine, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has determined that pilots and others who perform safety sensitive duties may receive the vaccine under the conditions of their FAA-issued airman medical certification. FAA and contract air traffic controllers, who are subject to FAA medical clearance, may also receive the vaccine.
