TAP celebrates 75 years of flights to Sao Tome and Principe

Source: TAP The airline now flies the route five times a week with a modern A321LRneo. TAP Air Portugal celebrates this month, the 75th anniversary of its first flight to the island of São Tomé. To celebrate the date, passengers were welcomed in celebration, both at the boarding gates of Humberto Delgado Airport and at São Tomé International Airport. In Lisbon, passengers received chocolate cakes from São Tomé and a postcard with the image of the first flight with the number TP522. July 2024 Employees of the Month: Stranded family gets a helping hand from team of MIA employees

SFO’s Terminal 3 West Modernization Project is Underway

Source: SFO The San Francisco International Airport (SFO) has launched the Terminal 3 West Modernization project, a $2.6B construction project which will renovate the existing 650,000 square foot western half of Terminal 3, including a seismic retrofit, an expanded security checkpoint and new passenger amenities. DOJ review period under HSR Act expires; Alaska Airlines awaiting next steps with DOT

WMO and ICAO Enhance Cooperation in Aeronautical Meteorology and Related Fields

ICAO and WMO – both specialised agencies of the United Nations – have maintained formal working arrangements since 1954.
