A look back at 2022: The Air France Foundation celebrates its 30th anniversary

Source: Air France In 2022, the Air France Foundation celebrated its thirtieth anniversary. A series of events organized around the world highlighted its commitment to improving the living conditions of disadvantaged and disabled children. These wonderful moments of sharing and solidarity were made possible by the mobilization of the company’s employee-volunteers in all of Air France’s stations. Throughout the summer, children assisted by some of the Foundation’ partner associations were able to enjoy unique experiences: At Paris-Charles de Gaulle, 120 children from the Envol association (which organizes tailor-made trips and activities for sick children and their families) went on a behind-the-scenes tour of France’s leading airport and discovered an Air France Airbus A350 accompanied by French astronaut Thomas Pesquet. Porter Airlines Took Delivery of Their First Embraer E195-E2

American Airlines Dispatchers and Operations Specialists Approve New, Industry-Leading Contract

FAA Proposes $134,475 Fine Against Vieques Air Link of Puerto Rico for Flights with Unqualified Pilots

Source: FAA The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposed a $134,475 civil penalty against Vieques Air Link of Puerto Rico for allegedly conducting passenger flights with unqualified pilots. The FAA alleges that between July and August 2022 Vieques Air Link used pilots without appropriate certificates to operate 11 commuter flights in multiple twin-engine Britten-Norman aircraft. Vieques Air Link has 30 days to respond to the FAA after receiving the agency’s enforcement letter.

Charlotta Wieland Appointed Interim CEO of Star Alliance

Porter Airlines Accepts First Aircraft with Pratt & Whitney GTF™ Engines
