Emirates Group announces record half-year performance for 2022-23

The Group is reporting a 2022-23 half-year net profit of AED 4.2 billion (US$ 1.2 billion), a record half-year performance, and a turnaround of almost AED 10 billion from its AED 5.7 billion (US$ 1.6 billion) loss for the same period last year. The Group also reported an EBITDA of AED 15.3 billion (US$ 4.2 billion), a marked improvement from AED 5.6 billion (US$ 1.5 billion) during the same period last year, illustrating its strong operating profitability. Volaris Reports October 2022 Traffic Results: 22% YoY demand growth with a 90% Load Factor

In October 2022, Volaris’ capacity (measured in ASMs) increased by 17.4% year-over-year, while demand (measured in RPMs) increased by 22.0%; the result was a load factor expansion of 3.4 pp, to 89.7%. Volaris transported 2.8 million passengers during the month, a 22.0% increase compared to October 2021. Demand in the domestic Mexican and international markets increased by 19.5% and 28.7%, respectively.
