Finnair returns to Canada – starts flights to Toronto in summer 2026

Viva Traffic Report May 2025: Passengers increased 9.0%, reaching an 84.8% load factor

Viva’s passenger traffic increased 9.0% compared to May 2024, reaching 2.5 million passengers, driven by an increase of 7.7% and 21.2% in domestic and international traffic, respectively. Load factors reached 84.8% compared to 85.3% in 2024, with a load factor mix of 86.4% and 77.1% in domestic and international, respectively. Faro-Funchal, TAP’s newest route

TAP Air Portugal has already launched its new domestic route, connecting Faro directly to Funchal with two flights a week. The operation started earlier this month and will be active until 11 September, reinforcing connectivity between two of Portugal's most emblematic tourist regions: the Algarve and Madeira.
