Caribbean Airlines’ ninth 737-8 aircraft started commercial operations

Source: Caribbean Airlines Caribbean Airlines advises that its ninth 737-8 aircraft, 9Y-SUR was introduced into commercial operations earlier this month. The aircraft operated the return flight BW 484/483, from Piarco International Airport to Miami International Airport. Commenting on the entry into service of the ninth aircraft, CEO Garvin Medera stated: “The entry of our ninth 737-8 aircraft, 9Y-SUR into our commercial schedule, is another milestone in our fleet renewal. ITA Airways launches new carbon program in collaboration with CHOOOSE

As a first step in an ongoing collaboration, ITA Airways’ carbon program will provide travelers with insight into their flight-related CO2 emissions and support them in addressing the impact of their flights. A look back at 2022: The Air France Foundation celebrates its 30th anniversary

A series of events organized around the world highlighted its commitment to improving the living conditions of disadvantaged and disabled children. These wonderful moments of sharing and solidarity were made possible by the mobilization of the company’s employee-volunteers in all of Air France’s stations. FAA Proposes $134,475 Fine Against Vieques Air Link of Puerto Rico for Flights with Unqualified Pilots

Source: FAA The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) proposed a $134,475 civil penalty against Vieques Air Link of Puerto Rico for allegedly conducting passenger flights with unqualified pilots. The FAA alleges that between July and August 2022 Vieques Air Link used pilots without appropriate certificates to operate 11 commuter flights in multiple twin-engine Britten-Norman aircraft. Vieques Air Link has 30 days to respond to the FAA after receiving the agency’s enforcement letter.

Charlotta Wieland Appointed Interim CEO of Star Alliance
