AEMETIS to supply Aer Lingus and British Airways with SAF for flights from San Francisco International Airport

Source: British Airways Renewable fuels company Aemetis, Inc. has announced a multi-year agreement with International Airlines Group (IAG) to supply sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) to help power both British Airways and Irish flag carrier Aer Lingus’ flights from San Francisco Airport from 2025. IAG, parent company of both British Airways and Aer Lingus, will purchase a total of 78,400 tonnes[1] of SAF over seven years, enough to reduce CO2 emissions by up to 248,000 tonnes (the equivalent of taking over 16,000 cars off the road) across the same time period. Virgin Atlantic recruiting pilots to take to the skies from summer 2023

The demand for First Officers comes as Virgin Atlantic increases capacity across its network.  New flying includes its first ever service to Austin, Texas which launched in May 2022,  a new route to Tampa, Florida which starts on 3rd November alongside a seasonal service to Cape Town, South Africa, which begins on 5th November. Maarten Stienen appointed as COO of KLM

Delta resumes nonstop service from LAX to Haneda; launches new service from Honolulu

She bravely broke down barriers within the world of aviation and paved the path for many to follow. To honor her legacy, American hosted Gigi Coleman, Bessie’s great niece, on a flight from Dallas-Fort Worth to Phoenix.
