Source: Alaska Airlines As part of Volunteer Week Hawaii, Alaska signed the Pledge To Our Keiki, giving back to the islands in partnership with travel2change and the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR).  In Hawai‘i, mālama means to care for, or to nurture. For Auli‘i, 14, it is a way of life and all she’s known. “Since we were little, we’ve been taught about taking care of the environment and ecosystem in school, from our grandparents and basically everyone—mālama is about respecting our cultural roots, nature and leaving places better than when you found them,” she said. Hawaiian Airlines to Offer Free, High-Speed Starlink Internet Connectivity on Transpacific Fleet

Spirit Airlines Strengthens Houston Ties With New Aircraft Maintenance Facility

Source: Spirit Airlines Spirit to add more than 50 jobs at George Bush Intercontinental Airport Spirit Airlines announced a commitment to deepen its roots in Houston with the addition of an aircraft maintenance facility at George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH). The facility, located along John F. Kennedy Boulevard, will serve as a large aircraft maintenance hangar with offices and warehousing for the Spirit Technical Operations team when it begins its first phase of operations. Air Canada Celebrated Earth Day by Dedicating Sustainable Aviation Fuel to Four Flights Through Its Leave Less Travel Program

Dispatchers at Alaska Airlines ratify new five-year contract

The contract was approved by 81% of those employees who voted.
